watso did vote for rudd, so watso is a tad biased. at this stage, it seems that rudd will stamp himself as a great leader, and watso is proud to have voted for him.

watso just finnished watching jenny macklin on tv, and the matter of housing. hopefully, what will be implemented will work, as issues about overcrowding etc etc are all so real. watso has spent a lot of time in the country, and it is obvious in the past, that a lot of money has been spent on housing, and in a very short time, whole settlements of new houses, are ruined.

somebody posted about our welfare state the other day, and the level of workplace participation by aborigines, several years ago - which seemed to be a lot higher than what it is today - and that could be, that families got more money for doing nothing

anyway, full marks to kevin rudd. oh just as a side issue - there was no "night of the long knives" . unlike howard, who got rid of anybody he thought that had lab leanings. how rudd allowed that hotlips barbara bennet to keep her job, is beyond watso's simple mind to comprehend - but it is a mark of rudd as a leader, that he allowed her to stay

on two occassions, have seen clips of keating at redfern, and parts of his speech. keating was a giant amongst men. (watso did vote him out though - perhaps his time was up)
