Whilst being a ST trader mainly :), I do intend holding a position for the div and probably longer term, whilst playing with a trading position in and out along the way, it's my way of using profits to increase my core holding and maybe even get free carried if I'm lucky.
Whilst performing well in this current environment, companies in this area that can do so whilst maintaining a high dividend yield are those that will provide not just short term value, but longer term even greater returns.
