spoke to the company, the raising was mainly to get a big insto on board to assist in improving the share price via research and reports in order for the market to truly recognize the value of the project, increase the SP and improve our market cap for future development if need be.
they said that the company did not want to wait until the DFS and JORC because by the time the results are out the cash balance would be approx $5m and then the market would become aware that the financial position is diminishing and thus could have a depressing effect on the SP which could cause further dilution.
all in all, taking a step back, we now have $20m and a massive resource. Nystar recently offered 400m for a 3m high grade resource. Ours is 60 and likely to increase. makes us look really really good for negotiating.
