MGC need s to get back to core business, collecting milk , paying farmers a fair price , producing a range of quality milk based products.
Milk collection have dropped significantly as farmers switch to other milk processors, Fonterra , Bega / Tatura / WCB and a number of smaller processors. It will take mighty effort to get some of these dairy farmers back supplying Murray Goulburn.
Forget about baby milk Bellamy's & Blackmore are having problems with this market as competition intensifies as EU/ Swiss producers as well as US companies Mead Johnson and Abbott increase sales into the China market.
