Just did some study of Elliott Wave Theory, and I am afraid that if momentum CANNOT be maintained, we could entre the end phase of complete Elliott Wave Sequence (see KTD chart below),

which consists of a basic 5 wave impulse sequence (1-5) with a basic 3 wave corrective sequence (6-8). 

If this 8-wave Elliot Sequence does happen, correction phase (Waves 6-8) could end at the lower level (i.e. circa 0.54 ) of previous Wave 4 after the 5-wave impulse advance.
