Well, there I was last post saying I've just 'topped up' and was happy to sit a wait for a steady gain and then last week happened.
Naturally, I'm delighted - instant karma!
Like many others I've sold out the whole lot on the way up to confirm gains - and, like others, I'm kicking myself for selling 'too soon'. (Who could have predicted today's finish?)
But, trust me, there's no such thing as selling 'too-soon'.
This time, I've made gains on KTD and consolidated them - and I'm not worried about paying tax as they're not even close to recover the losses I've made in the past where I sold 'too late'.
Out of the two options, trust me, selling 'too-soon' is a far better choice.
Right now, trying to make sense of all of this has got me tossed. There's no reason I can make out why last week the KTD SP should have happened and there's obviously forces at work making whatever's going to happen in the future, happen.
All us mere mortals can do is sit back and enjoy the current unexpected ride UP and when the (probably?) inevitable journey is back downwards the notion of selling 'too soon' will be forgotten.
Those that sold 'too soon' will still have what they have and, trust me, those that sell 'too-late' will be wishing they hadn't. (I know about this, I'm usually one of them).
This week surely has been fun.
