I started buying NWE shares in early March this year at 3.2 cents. At the time I thought there must be a catch, having been burned by Altura/A40,and escaping with modest gains from AVZ and FEX. The NWE news was just too positive, so I bought cautiously and ended up with an average price of 4.6 cents per share. If NWE goes to 10 cents over the next couple of months I will make more than my total combined gross income for 2022, just on that stock. I also hold MIN shares. They have increased well in value but Chris is a bit mean when it comes to paying dividends. I now see much more upside in holding 1367 shares of NWE than one share of MIN. Chris is an enormous asset for NWE. He can send his new West Australian Directors, Julie Bishop and Justin Langer in to bat for us with the politicians. Professor Colleen Haywood will be tasked with appeasing the natives and Ms Xi Xi is well up to the task of negotiating with the Chinese. So long as greed and ego don't get in the way, we are in good hands.
