Rumour is reappearing that Joyce will be gone by September. Apparently the board is split over the direction in which the strategy is going. Could there be a few board members singing for their supper, who have supported the current strategy? Major shareholders are not happy.
I noticed in the AFR today, Emirates will be watching the AGM for guidance on QAN's big announcement. Emirates are willing to jump in and fill the void. If QAN give up routes, then they will never get them back and will lose customers en masse.
You better strap in, turbulent times ahead!
