Pulp mills are horrible polluters - no question about that. But you have very clearly rebuffed the NIMBY argument that most people spout against Gunns.
Basically, we have 2 choices;
a) Gunns' mill in Tassie, which will be subject to extremely tight environmental and reforestation controls, or
b) Totally unregulated pirates in Malaysia/Indonesia/Philippines wherever that destroy and pollute as if their grandkids will be living on a different planet
From a global perspective - which would you choose?
