It is against the law not to provide choice of service provider, however within an embedded network there are barriers to entry. These are -:
INT network Charges
Ability of the Network to reconcile the "child meter"
INT "better than market" offer.
INT currently have 100% of electricity on our sites. About 65% on the other services. (Wireless Internet and Mobiles).
It is also worth noting that it is in the owners interests to promote INT's services to tenants because the owner makes a cut out of the profit. So they are on INT's side in terms of INT signing up as many tenants as possible.
This is information that is readily available but thought it worth mentioning here.
