People forget that Ron Sayers started operating in Africa nearly 30 years ago. Ausdrill Group/Perenti has been managing the "risk" for nearly as long as they've been in business. At one point 70% of the groups income was from Africa. This isn't a new, unknown, gamble taken by inexperienced operators. It's hardly worth the noise it gets in these forums.
