Elizabeth Knight of SMH has a more valuable contribution IMHO, see the other thread, VAH is still up against it, AIZ makes more money from NZ and internationally, QAN is too strong for VAH domestically in Australia and both VAH and QAN are cutting capacity, trying to hike fares that noone is buying.

Perhaps QAN and VAH should provide just one profitable route SYD-MEL and reduce all the others.
