If Singapore wanted to make a full takeover bid for VAH they would have done it before HNA were given equity in VAH. Now with one extra owner, more equity in VAH and the share price heading north it is more difficult and more expensive for Singapore to takeover VAH. It is still possible, but I would not bet on it. I suggest that ownership of VAH by several competing airlines is more likely to lead to conflict and losses instead of cooperation and profits.
