At the end of the day, until/if Air NZ sells their stake in Virgin, nothing at all has changed. ???
We do not have to sell, and unless the price is right why should they. Why give it away.
Hainan airlines obviously see some value in Virgin.
Sure there is more competition, but all airlines are affected by that aren't they.
Record profits are still going to be reported shortly.
Dividend approx 9 to 10% - what's wrong with that.
Q. do shareholders get to vote on if Air NZ should sell Virgin - and if so, do they also get to vote on what an acceptable price would be for that sale? Or is that for the board to decide themselves?
