I check the shorts every day - next to nothing??
If this is the smart money then why wasn't it shorted as they would have known they would be sending it down??
It really has behaved like buyers keep dropping back and sellers had to come down to meet them and then looking for support - maybe thats what the smart money did - they just didn't buy & allow gravity to do the rest..... Friday held up ok though given qantas was down by 2.67% - US was down last night so we may well go lower on Monday if no-ones buying on the NZX
