Odd - on the ASIC short sales report the 29/07 reports 94 million short and the 30/07 reports 56 million short - funny I don't remember 38 million shares changing hands last week.

Either way that's a lot of shorts for a company trading at $100 million less than cash - they'd better hope no sudden news on buy backs, dividends or takeovers come out or they are going to get burnt big time.

With iron ore around $55USD these guys shouldn't be burning too much cash either - would be nice to see the price run to $60 just to shake up the shorts a bit further.
