well think about it...for example, if yesterday... on average 1M shares were traded in the first 1 hour and sp fell 10% whereas today 3.5M shares were traded in the first hour and we had a rise in the shareprice of 10%, then on volume, there is 3.5 times more support in rise than in fall, which menas there is a potential for sp to rise 3.5 times more than the fall. ie upside pull is 3.5 times stonger than downside pull on volume...and volume is where it counts!
