The largest egg business in NZ is on the blocks with PE firms looking to bid. Maybe this has highlighted the market appetite for this asset given the great balance sheet.
I also understand grain price is low which would be another positive.
A number of possibilities ... however not a very liquid stock so can move anywhere for no real reason.
