I alluded in an earlier post to an inclusion to the ASX 300 .
With 330 Million shares and a share price of 60c ,Anvils market cap will be firmly in the territory needed for this to happen ,particularly if we do see 90c in the next couple of months .One of Anvils biggest problems in attracting instos to the register , has been their small cap status . They are moving towards mid cap status now ,which will attract more interest . In the event of an ASX inclusion , some institutions will need to buy Anvil to reweight their portfolios .
It is interesting that Institutional investors from a number of countries ,including Australia are to take up the placement .
This could serve to improve volumes traded ,which is also a requirement for an ASX inclusion .
I wonder if any institutions will be snubbed .(not mentioning any names )
If we do see an inclusion to ASX 300 next year we could see the Aussie market taking the lead in the pricing of Anvil .
These projects will be up and running in a fraction of the normal timeframe , so rerating will have to take place soon .The instos that have the foresight to get in now will do well . The others will have to pay !
The penny will soon drop ,that the copper price is not going back to anywhere near a dollar for years to come , and its only a matter of time before mania sets in on copper producers , as many are still underpriced .
I am predicting $1.80 US next year for copper , with volatility .
Stockpiles are at critical levels now and we could soon see hoarding set in from manufacturers, making sure of uninterrupted supply .This will only speed up the decline in stockpiles .
The result of this is that Anvil can reach shareprices next year that even hard core Anvil devotees have not yet considered .
This is a different company to the one I invested in years ago . Once a small cap speccy explorer , we now have a well respected , mid cap copper producer ,with huge growth potential .Add a sprinkling of blue sky , and we have lots of reasons to feel excited .
