No I guess its not but it does burn up of cycles trying to make points to folk they never will "get".
Like I have this small side idea that we could produce a dynamic global stock market index valued in gold. I know how to build the software and how to integrate it to all the stocks in the world. Can you imagine if you could produce chart of any stock in the world valued in gold? That dynamically updates as prices change, how might that change charting? :) How about gold stocks valued in gold? ive always thought valuing stocks in fiat currency as a pretty crummy way of charting and valuing stocks.
Thats one of dozens of ideas so Im better not being distracted with the this stuff and working on something big.
