Having said that I hate the idea of Councils getting rid of Australia Day as they're 3rd rate pollies, 3rd rate administrators and 3rd rate decision makers with no accountability and they're full of lefties, woke nutcases! They answer to no-one, the media won't go after them as they do with the State and Feds and if they do you've got a 3rd rate work experience kid doing it... they're unaccountable and they know it.

councils aren't getting rid of Aus day are they? I thought it was only not holding citizenship ceremonies, which they can hold on any day of the year, but not have to pay the penalty rates of a PH.
