I am sad to announce the passing of my beautiful dog - Boots.
He was a big boy and was half Italian mastiff and half Labrador. He had the most placid temperament I have ever seen on any dog and incredibly gentle. Very good looking too.
Poor Boots was only 4 years old but had very bad epilepsy. Yes dogs can get it too.
We spent thousands on him, but his health (and brain function) began to deteriorate.
Last Monday he had yet another series of fits and the last one was really bad. The vet said there was no hope for him and we had to make the horrible decision.
His passing was very peaceful and he has left my family with very saddened hearts.
He really was a top dog and left us with some good memories.
