idg looks promising for a number of reasons-
they've stopped the losses the occurred under the previous management
they're beginning to generate some value e.g. Tusker
The fact the share price is below the net asset backing is just a reflection that the market just hasnt taken note of the 'new' idg, over time the share price and net asset value should converge. If management have a good 'story' to sell, then the share price will go to a premium over asset backing (which should start to rise significantly soon)
Against my optimism is a company which is still to demonstrate a consistent return of shareholder funds.
