My sentiments followed yours on every issue.
I particularly congratulate you on two observations, that Rudd is too far to the right and that educations was first screwed up by Dawkins. How different the world became after Dawkins' mindless intervention!
I, too, don't expect too fundamental a change with Rudd. Not if he runs his party the way Howard did, like Stalin, who turned it into a cowardly crowd of "don't rock the boat" men and women. What I AM hoping is that the likes of Linsday Tanner and Julia Gillard, even, have some sway over policy... though, even those two are still far too conservative and timid when it comes to implementing good, social policies.
But the church doors are now closed and the little rodents are kept outside -for a while, at least!
