In my opinion the problem is with processing not with the ponds, that is the most logical explanation for their disappointing production forecast. I dont believe they dont have enough brine to pump from the ponds (they are trying to convince investors that they have already idle capacity with the current processing plant but they cant feed it with enough brine, I call this BS), most probably they dont have enough processing capacity to process the brine into lithium, either their recoveries are still horrible (flow sheet issue) or they simply they need to increase substantially their equipment (expanding the processing plant).

Indeed that is a second "lack of transparency with and disclosure to investors" case after the "seville" years kept secret of "half production/sales is low purity lithium"...
