sorry but that is an illogical/lame excuse for not hitting 17.500tpa for stage1. I see two options:
1- stage2 is simply a doubling of stage1 (same primary circuit plant copied), in this case I cant see them hitting more than 26.000tpa (2*13.000tpa). They will add 13.000tpa of technical grade lithium, instead of the targeted 25.000tpa of technical grade lithium.
2- stage2 is improving on stage1 (improved plant/flow sheet), in this case there is uncertainty if the new plant design/flow sheet will work out as expected and investors should expect more delays in delivering stage2.
However, in both options, 42.500tpa stage2 short term delivery (17.500tpa purified battery grade + 25.000tpa unpurified technical grade) seems a pipe dream and wont happen before either years of trial and error or years improving/expanding stage2 to deliver stage3. Mark my words, at this turtle pace of progress the 42.500tpa could one day be called in the future stage3...
