A lot of people dont like that tall poppy stuff. People aspire to do well. They may not have money now, but they want it without being pushed around. Why dont they tax people who buy a home for $5m and sell it for $10m without paying any tax? Why is that tax free and your savings aren't? Pollies own expensive homes and are negative geared on high salaries. Funny that.
