IMO, the Australian share market is much more comfortable nowadays with a sp above $100, compared to 2007, when the last slit was done.
A lot of investors have become much better educated and now realise that the sp is a function of the number of shares and market cap, and that playing around with the shares on issue to get a share price is not value adding to a company.
