Young people have to understand that before you can earn a good wage, you have to sweep the floor first! You cannot go to Uni and get a piece of paper and start at the top on big dollars. Experience is something you canot learn in a classroom and it is priceless! Tradies are in demand and once you have finished your apprenticeship you can earn great money. But I agree that government has to pay more to kids doing an apprenticeship.
