Sorry John that is allot of sociallist crap. Whether 100 investors own 1 rental property or 1 investor owns 100 rental properties is largely irrelevant as it is providing 100 homes for rent to those that cannot buy or do not want to buy for whatever reason. It is a service regardless of whether you think it is or not.
FYI I am very much aware of the bottom end of the market as I deal with it on a day to day basis and I can tell you no matter what the price of property the clients I deal with couldn't afford it anyway.
Additionally it was not the so called property hoarders that pushed the price of property up it was everyone trying to keep up with the Jones's buying the bigger better house in the flasher area etc out bidding one another on increasing joint incomes.
