It's my view that for roughly a decade now we've exploited immigration to provide businesses with cheap, exploitable labor. This has been promoted in the media as demands for farm laborers and hospitality workers.
That sort of immigration has indeed come at a massive cost to government, especially when those workers send their wages back home or after having been trained up return home asap.
The solutions to such are simple and those dependent on cheap, exploitable labor need to alter their businesses!
