yep robotics has been changing industrial labour for 40 years. and will continue to do so on a ever-faster scale.
I don't think this means no new jobs though as business will always expand and grow. faster than ever with robotics, so employment will still grow imo. either this or UBI will eventually become necessary and unemployment benefits will morph into a permanent substitute..... very much like the ancient Roman means of providing sustenance when citizens were not required to work with slaves providing all the labour.
