Updated Global Resource
During the quarter, an updated JORC compliant Resource
Estimate for the Pilbara Iron Ore Project was announced to
the ASX (see separate Announcement 20 May 2010). The
updated estimate resulted in a 20% increase to the Global
Resource, to 658.3 Mt @ 55.4 Fe. This estimate includes
a higher quality component of Inferred and Indicated
Resource, totalling 347.7 Mt @ 57.4% Fe (Table 1).
The updated resource estimate was prepared by
independent geological consultancy Golder Associates,
and was based on geological information obtained from
all drilling completed across the Anvil and Blacksmith
tenements, up to the end of 2009.

Note that it does not include any of the recent drilling completed during 2010, which is expected to add to the global resource base.
