    Pleased to see the results of interest.

    The Board of Republic announces that its rights issue has closed oversubcribed. A total of 263,209,450 new shares were offered to raise $3.42M. The funds will be used to continue exploration in FNQ, NSW & uranium prospects in Sth Aust; debt repayment & recovery, seek new opportunites and for working capital.
