i think you are on track here. We operate with hundreds of thousands of cases of the flu in Australia. Even though there is a vaccine, we still have the flu. Covid 19 will be the same. We will learn to live with it and older peeps will be in trouble if they get it. Just like the flu. Recent studies are inferring that up to 15% of the population could have it without serious symptoms. That would be about 40 million people in the USA and only 1 million serious enough to get tested and 50,000 dead from it or at least with it in their bodies at the time of death. Empty hospitals, thousands of ventilators sitting around and hyrdoxychloroquine and Remdesivir etc to treat it. There was a time that doctors didnt even wash their hands and they were amazed at the reduction in infections when they did. We will have new ways of interacting. which may include masks and no handshaking and social distancing with people you dont know but eventually we will do these things without thinking and get on with life.
