A goodwill impairment was taken in respect of the Rotary Middle East Businesses of A$69.1 million.
This business is now carrying nil goodwill.
Does this imply that that the Rotary Middle East business has been liquidated or does it just imply that the business has no longer got a good reputation or any positive brand recognition.
The $69.1 goodwill impairnment was a huge hit and i am concerned about further goodwill impairments.
This amount does not need to be paid to anyone does it?
It just means the company is worth a lot less?
