Do you really think this will happen? Businesses such as WTF rely on relationships being developed with individual hotels and hotel chains. I can't see Google doing this sort of relationship building themselves. They may be willing to buy the expertise from groups such as WTF. Just by providing a list of hotels doesn't make the task of booking any easier, unless you have lots of time to trawl the web. For most tourist travellers the main problem I see is the short booking time frame they have of 3 months, but I understand this will soon be fixed. This is the main reason that I use Hotel Club. For others WTF provides a one stop accommodation booking site. I guess only time will tell though.
