I don't believe this is available outaide of the US curently (it was only rebranded/launched a day or two ago) but this coul have serious implications on World WiFi and NOR as well as similar apps/tech startups.
Google have been known for their "throw it at the wall and see what sticks" approach before and may end up scraping this in the future but seeing as it is expanding from limited Google devices (Pixel phones etc.) to a larger list of both android and iOS devices this could gain some momentum and be the final big nail in a lot of small/medium coffins.
Not that NOR needs any further headwind but this has always been a threat in the small tech space; larger more cashed up company's entering/copying/profiting off the roads paved by the little guys.
