We are heading into flu season in the Southern Hemisphere with peaks in Australia traditionally commencing in May through to September.

International concern is increasing about Avian Flu H1N1 mutating to be more readily transmitted between humans.

International stockpiles of antivirals are due to expire. Resistance to Tamiflu is a major issue.

Biota antivirals are firmly in this treatment and prophylaxis space.
