very astute observation in my view made by Pie here...
all to do with timing. the announcement came out after the market in the US
we had absolutely lousy day on Friday
the ASX market did not factor in this good news at all
the DOW went up 226 pts after the ASX closed
Monday will probably take off
If you had bought a million dollars worth of stock on Friday you'd probably make $50,000
two days like that and you could stop work for the year
a real lesson here
