Just discovered that a fella I know was in bed with his wife at his pub on Saturday night when 2 balaclava clad gun toting individuals approached him.
With a shotgun pointed at his head he was orrdered to give them all the money on the premises. He had meat cleevers and a tyre wrench in close proximity but resisted the temptation.
They stole $8-10,000. He was uninsured. Would have cost him the same to insure himself so his probably no worse off.
Police have a cigarrette butt and shoe prints but if one of the crooks DNA isn't on any database the investigation will probably go nowhere.
