"Google pays out over $380M to partners a quarter, through their Adsense ADS programme."

    That is right LC.

The following google search proves that Google lists AT LEAST 2,770,000 pages from looksmart, each packed with contextual ads from Google paying out a good percentage to LOOK.

    lists :http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&lr=&q=site:findarticles.com

So that means there are AT LEAST 2,770,000 pages on the internet accessible from search sites OTHER THAN LOOK that generate revenue for LOOK.

We know that Findarticles now has 10,000,000 articles, so I'm sure coming month's Google crawls will increase this number accessible from other areas of the net.

That is not to mention links from all the sites pointing to those articles separately.

Now with that many revenue delivering pages on the net, how long before Looksmart are in a position to rip out the google contextual ads and launch their own contextual ad service, with 100% revenue to LOOK? That will effectively double their contextual revenue.

Looksmart do not even need to be become a popular search destination for this to generate revenue for them. But a company with ten million web pages out there must be in a pretty good position to attract some decent ad revenue IMO.
