I don’t think their stopping all payments to Afterapy, but blocking the option of paying ones AfterPay loan installments using Capital One credit card. Think about it, credit to settle credit - obviously they don’t think this is ethical. Your sweet as long as you pay through a linked bank account or debit card... they are funny about the use of credit card. Other institutions may follow.... but I really don’t think this is a big issue tbh, what’s the proportion of APT users that fall into this bucket (using credit card to settle AfterPay installment) - not much I would suspect. Quite frankly, I think it’s also a good control for AfterPay in an indirect way.
