greyhound - i do intend to stay clear of posting much on PLT until more substantial news comes through.

however - i would not be too concerned about whether or not Decan "knows" something. He almost certainly doesn't.

Instead, I would focus on the objective evidence.

Decan & I have pointed to:

a) goings-on in the takeover process that are, objectively,unusual and raise question marks as to whether the deal is going to proceed as a recommended offer,

b) Legitimate queries as to the way in which the PLT cash balance would be developing in light of takeover costs & known facts around March quarter performance.

Decan is just taking the available evidence and applying a great probability to the worst case scenario unfolding. He does tend to be glass almost empty in this way.

You should feel free to assign your own probabilities to the likely set of outcomes. All that I would suggest is that you not discount the factual material that has been released.
