I believe that Alpha go is software driven ie programmers spend days/months writing algorithms once set the system has a few games to learn and then has played itself many thousands of times where it learns and becomes better.
The difference is BRN in hardware based and has no need for the programming time.
So assuming Google put up the $1m prize for the competition if BRN were to play Alpha Go in the next competition and win would that count as M4 <$500m from a F500 company.....lol!!!
