Yep I agree with the first part. Hillary had some mindless supporters as well. Your last sentence is way off base though, her policy platform was 100x more fleshed out than Trump's. She has done a lot of flip-flops but not nearly as many as Trump, who once said "the economy seems to do better under the Democrats", "I believe in a woman's right to choose" etc before completely doing a 180.
Anyway it's all moot now. Might as well keep believing her the devil incarnate because she won't be running again.
