Sort of like the Dems and Biden telling the folks who cant afford food, gas or rent that, "C'mon, man. You're wrong...you've got more money than you think, so enjoy our Bidenomics"....they're doing the same thing with crime

Everywhere people are screaming about crime...how they don't feel safe...how criminals are running riot...how their neighbourhoods are hell.
And in response...they reply, "Crime? What crime? Stop complaining cause crime's WAY down so enjoy life".
Ya know... the whole don't believe yer lying eyes shtick

No matter how many times the facts below are pointed out to them, posters here reply with answers like this with what they want us to believe:
"Option A - your grassroots skin in the game anecdotal "evidence".
    Option B - Facts
"US stats show violent crime dramatically falling, so why is there a rising clash with perception?

"I don't believe the statistics," said Auriol Sonia Morris, a Trump supporter."

PolitiFact | No, crime has not 'skyrocketed' under Joe Biden, as Rep. Nancy Mace claimed

    The facts????

If law enforcement isnt doing its job because of the FITH nonsense of "defund police" or versions of that leftard thinking and if they...the equally leftard jurisdictions... continually decriminalise and not prosecute crime ...funny thing happens....loons think crime's gone down

And ...here's the real kicker...a great many jurisdictions have not shared their crime data with the FBI and so...again...for loons....this means the crime data is showing a drop in crime

AND this includes the NYPD and LAPD

For more than 100 years, the FBI has been collecting crime data from local police departments across the country through the Uniform Crime Reporting Program, which has been the gold standard of national crime statistics. By 2020, almost every law enforcement agency was included in the FBI’s database. Some agencies reported topline numbers, such as the total number of murders or car thefts, through the Summary Reporting System. Others reported granular incident data with details about each reported crime through the newer National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS).

Then it all changed in 2021. (I wonder what changed in 2020??? Hmmmm...what could it have been????)

In an effort to fully modernize the system, the FBI stopped taking data from the old summary system and only accepted data through the new system. Thousands of police agencies fell through the cracks because they didn’t catch up with the changes on time.

The Marshall Project is tracking police agency participation using data obtained from the FBI.

Here are takeaways from the analysis.
Participation in the FBI's database improved slightly, with about two-thirds of law enforcement agencies now included.
More than 6,000 law enforcement agencies were missing from the FBI’s national crime data last year, representing nearly one-third of the nation’s 18,000 police agencies.

This means a quarter of the U.S. population wasn't represented in the federal crime data last year,

No wonder people have stopped trusting the Gvt and the agencies tasked with doing their job when THEY KNOW this yet they'll use the severely depleted data and LIE to your face even as you are being mugged, robbed or raped.

Shut up, they say. Stop your complaining and vote for us, the Dems...the party of law and order
