A money making machine ?
Absolutely no doubt about it. The company was designed by genuinely excellent previous management expertise to be a money making machine and furthermore a facility was implemented to shield the company from being an easy takeover as well.
The problem is the previous management have moved on and are now replaced by entities that have little or no expertise and very little regard for holders.
Indeed they don't seem to be able to add any value at all for holders. They can't find anything much in the exploration sphere (despite $Ms being thrown at it), they pay excruciatingly minimal dividend (and they only very begrudgingly implemented a divi policy in any event) and they've spent who knows how much on two or three external plays that have materially failed every time.
