It sounds like Devon is finding some good things on the Teeters and Newton wells. They have been able to stay in the formation nearly 100% of the time. Resistivities are coming back at much higher levels than the 1980's vintage. Some are reaching near 150 to 200 ohms.
Enterprise has a pump jack again.
On the Hall well Chesapeake totally missed the Niobrara. In fact, the well bore was 150 feet above the Niobrara based on the depth that Devon found the Niobrara at.
It was also mentioned that Samson is drilling fast and furious. Though their rig is pretty old.
Devon has brought in a new rig and Marathon is bringing in a brand new rig also. Devon says if things keep looking good they will have 3 rigs here in January to stay.
Marathon will start building a well pad for the monitoring well tomorrow.
Noble is staking several more wells to our south. Within a mile of our place.
