Wouldnt N be "set aside" still...and not.... again?
although from Burntgamber recollection PL said something like
"Since the court decision 'back in April' is being challenged then the prospecting rights are only set-aside or the time being.

the 'back in april' doesnt fit.imo.unless there was a court case then or the 'decision' in April which was challenged at that time...
DMR must have made their decision because B are objecting to something ie a decision?

and I did find info on a za municipality site where there was another claimant for N in the process of ? not sure of the term so lets call it authentification...I could find the already posted link again if needed...

Which takes me back to the arguement that individual claims could have difficulty proving that they represent the numbers of ancestors required to be catagorised as a resident tribe many tens or hundreds of years ago...well thats how I read a report also posted a while back.
    and
From this experience there could be quite a few tribes disadvantaged over a long period of time...some tuned into prospecting rights and some just wanting to be consulted or compensated and some still being authenticated...
and with the tribal chieftancies coming under dispute and sometimes changing heaven knows how mere mortals can consult with the right people and please every-one.

PL used the word partners quite a bit...who do you assume he means?

"Nkwe however the project is not of priority" to me that means in no hurry for it. Better ways to make money or locate ore for smelting than start a new mine.

so I say what is going to push the clock forward? and all I can think of is an outside bidder or a big BEE bidder, perhaps a JSE listing? and a lot of co-operation...

if Nationalisation comes in, there probably wont be any more prospecting take place in SA....
so NKP will then have NO competition. The known/proven resources of the country will be fixed at what has been discovered pre nationalisation.
That will be a dead end for SAs
treasure of wealth, never to be increased because exploration wouldnt pay because the gov. nationalised their existing mines. Short term gain, long term pain..
Zimbabwe arent as BIG as SA and probably dont have much exploration to loose.

    Great post burntgamber.
Pl must be extremely busy with so many cos...
MM is the one I look to.
